April 24, 2027, 11 am–3 pm, Dresden

The event will take place at Postplatz in Dresden, which will become a meeting place for friends, enthusiasts and fans of historic buses from Germany and abroad. A key feature of the event will be a central stage, where figures from politics and business will present and discuss the importance of historic vehicles as cultural heritage and their significance for society, tourism and the economy.

Another highlight of the FIVA World Event will be the public display of 20 selected historic buses. The vehicles will reflect the international nature of the event while also highlighting Dresden and Saxony’s regional heritage. The result will be an international exhibition at Dresden’s Postplatz, showcasing the diversity and technological and social development of bus transport.

The event will also offer an opportunity to introduce a wider audience to the work of FIVA in preserving historic vehicles as cultural heritage . The FIVA World Event in Dresden will bring together international connections, historic vehicle culture, regional transport history and the display of exceptional vintage buses in a central location in the city.
